Job description

Summary

BCD Travel helps companies travel smart through digital experiences and corporate travel solutions. The Travel Automation Analyst supports low-complexity help desk requests, provides basic troubleshooting and requirements gathering, and assists with quality control and travel automation implementation projects.

Responsibilities

  • Provide a proactive and consultative approach to programming basic entry level solutions
  • Learn, understand, and adhere to department guidelines and procedures consistently
  • Provide basic troubleshooting for key information related to client concerns, programming errors, and escalations
  • Focus on basic routine requirements gathering and routine writing
  • QC Web updates per help desk requests
  • Provide an on-going resource for OBT and QCE implementation projects
  • Submit requests to detach and/or attach global standard optional or custom routines
  • QC Web account creation for project implementations

Skills

  • Prior experience in the travel industry, should include MidOffice Applications knowledge as part of an organized technology team
  • Strong hands-on knowledge of all aspects of the travel reservation process
  • Ability to work on multiple projects concurrently
  • Excellent organization and time management skills
  • Proven customer service skills
  • Good knowledge in Microsoft Office products
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Working knowledge of Sabre and Amadeus GDS systems is a plus
