Job description

Summary

DNV is a provider of certification, training, and related professional services. The company is seeking a sales professional to grow its Aerospace and Management Systems certification and training portfolio across North America by developing business opportunities, advising clients on learning solutions, and managing sales activities.

Responsibilities

  • Drive growth of Aerospace certification and public/private training sales across North America
  • Develop new business opportunities through prospecting, referrals, networking, and existing client relationships
  • Identify client training needs and recommend appropriate learning solutions
  • Prepare proposals, quotations, and close sales opportunities
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships to encourage repeat business
  • Collaborate with trainers, operations, marketing, and certification sales teams to maximize opportunities
  • Maintain accurate sales pipeline and customer information within CRM systems
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activity to support business growth

Skills

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in sales, business development, account management, or customer-facing roles within the aerospace, aviation, defense, certification, training, or related industries
  • Strong consultative selling, relationship management, and business development skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively with quality, operational, engineering, and executive-level stakeholders
  • Experience using CRM systems such as Oracle or similar tools
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills including presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficiency with CRM systems (e.g., Oracle, HubSpot)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills
  • The employee would be required to draft and review internal documents in English to be used throughout North America
  • Additional knowledge of management system standards such as ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO/IEC 27001, IATF or related standards is highly desirable

Qualifications

Must Haves

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in sales, business development, account management, or customer-facing roles within the aerospace, aviation, defense, certification, training, or related industries
  • Strong consultative selling, relationship management, and business development skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively with quality, operational, engineering, and executive-level stakeholders
  • Experience using CRM systems such as Oracle or similar tools
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills including presentation, and negotiation skills
