Summary
DNV is an independent expert in assurance and risk management that provides reliable insights and solutions to help organizations make critical decisions. The Training Sales & Business Development professional will drive training sales, identify and develop new business opportunities, recommend learning solutions, manage proposals and sales pipelines, and build strong customer relationships across North America.
Responsibilities
- Drive growth of public and private training sales across North America
- Develop new business opportunities through prospecting, referrals, networking, and existing client relationships
- Identify client training needs and recommend appropriate learning solutions
- Prepare proposals, quotations, and close sales opportunities
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships to encourage repeat business
- Collaborate with trainers, operations, marketing, and certification sales teams to maximize opportunities
- Maintain accurate sales pipeline and customer information within CRM systems
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity to support business growth
Skills
- High School Diploma
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience selling professional services, training, consulting, certification, or related solutions
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills including presentation, and negotiation skills
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot)
- Proficiency in Microsoft office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 10% per year, primarily to trade shows and conferences including U.S
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills

- Bachelors Degree in Business Administration or related field
