Job description

Summary

Ellucian is a higher education technology company providing solutions across the student lifecycle. The company is seeking an experienced Student Success Consultant to support Banner Accounts Receivable implementations, provide functional guidance, facilitate customer workshops, and help customers align business processes with Banner capabilities. The role collaborates with customers and cross-functional teams to deliver successful implementation outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a functional consultant for Banner Accounts Receivable implementations
  • Lead assigned functional workstreams and support customer implementations from discovery through deployment
  • Provide consulting guidance to help customers align business processes with Banner capabilities and recommended practices
  • Facilitate customer workshops, requirements discussions, configuration sessions, and knowledge transfer activities
  • Collaborate with Senior Consultants and project teams to address complex functional requirements and customer challenges
  • Contribute to implementation methodology, consulting assets, documentation, and delivery standards
  • Partner with Product Management, Sales, and Professional Services teams as needed to support successful customer outcomes
  • Identify project risks and functional issues and escalate them appropriately
  • Share knowledge and best practices with peers and support onboarding and enablement activities
  • Meet customer satisfaction, utilization, and business objectives

Skills

  • 3+ years of functional experience working with Banner Accounts Receivable, including hands-on experience with its core processes and functionality
  • Experience supporting or leading functional workstreams as part of customer implementations
  • Strong functional knowledge of Banner Accounts Receivable, with an understanding of integrations and dependencies across Student and Financial Aid
  • Ability to analyze customer business processes, gather requirements, and recommend solutions aligned with Banner capabilities and implementation best practices
  • Strong communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to effectively lead customer discussions and workshops
  • Ability to work independently on assigned responsibilities while collaborating with project teams and senior consultants on complex functional challenges
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify risks, dependencies, and issues and escalate them appropriately
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally as required

Must Haves

  • 3+ years of functional experience working with Banner Accounts Receivable, including hands-on experience with its core processes and functionality
