Summary
Gainwell Technologies develops technology and solutions that help improve health and human services outcomes. The Early Career Business Analyst will analyze, clean, and model data; develop Power BI dashboards; automate data processes; translate business requirements into technical solutions; and communicate insights to stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Analyze, clean, and model data to support business decisions and reporting
- Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports, and visualizations
- Use coding and automation to improve data processes and operational efficiency
- Support tax coding and data classification activities
- Work with business and technical teams to translate requirements into data-driven solutions
- Utilize tools such as Power BI, GitHub, Copilot Studio, SQL, and Python to analyze and manage data
- Validate solutions through testing and quality assurance activities
- Communicate insights and recommendations to stakeholders
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Analytics, Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field
- Experience working with large data sets to support reporting, analytics, and business decision-making
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions and actionable insights
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively across business and technical teams
- Attention to detail with a commitment to data quality and accuracy
- Power BI dashboard development and data visualization
- Coding and automation experience
- Data cleaning, transformation, and data modelingAnalytical problem solving
- Experience with **Python** and **SQL** for data extraction, transformation, analysis, and automation
- Experience building advanced **Power BI** data models, DAX calculations, and interactive dashboards
- Familiarity with software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies and agile environments
- Experience working with health and human services, government programs, or highly regulated industries
