GPSU Cybersecurity Spring Internship

Summary

GuidePoint Security provides cybersecurity expertise, solutions, and services that help organizations minimize risk. The GPSU Cybersecurity Spring Internship is a part-time remote internship where interns complete training, collaborate with security experts, and gain hands-on experience through technical development, security response, project work, shadowing, and vendor training.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with industry-leading subject matter experts to provide first-class cyber security services
• Complete in-house training programs, while working on projects to enhance their security knowledge and skills
• Work a majority of hours between 11am-4pm EST Monday through Friday, ranging from 25-29hrs/wk
• Attend the mandatory in-person onboarding in Tampa, FL from January 11 - January 14, 2027 (all expenses paid)
• Have a personal computing device and access to high-speed internet during working hours
• Attend trainings and shadowing opportunities between the hours of 11am - 4pm EST, Monday - Friday
• GPSU team receives and reviews applications as they are submitted
• Selected candidates will be invited to conduct a 2.5 hour virtual technical assessment
• Candidates who successfully complete the technical assessment will be invited to a 1-hour technical interview
• Candidates who meet all criteria will be evaluated for potential placement

Skills
