Job description
Summary
GuidePoint Security is a trusted provider of cybersecurity expertise and solutions. They are seeking fellows from the military to transition into technical federal roles, providing hands-on training and collaborative project work in cybersecurity.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with industry-leading subject matter experts to provide first-class cyber security services
- Complete in-house training programs while working on projects to enhance security knowledge and skills
- Gain experience through Hands-On Technical Development, Real-World Security Response, Collaborative Project Work, Team and Position Shadowing, and Partner-led Vendor Training and Certifications
Skills
- Separation from active-duty military service within the next 18 months
- An active security clearance (Top Secret or higher)
- Eligibility to conduct an internship/fellowship through DoD Skillbridge, Army Career Skills Program, or Hiring Our Heroes
- Located within the United States for the entire duration of the fellowship and future full-time employment opportunities
- At least a basic knowledge of networking, common security tools and practices, as well as a passion for information security
- Preference is given to those currently serving in IT, intelligence, or cyber positions

Benefits
- Remote workforce primarily (U.S. based only, some travel may be required for certain positions, working on-site may be required for Federal positions)
