Summary

The Software Development Engineer will design, develop, and maintain e-commerce applications, collaborate on new features, troubleshoot and optimize software, and contribute to code reviews and ongoing development practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality software solutions for e-commerce applications
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code while following best practices
• Troubleshoot and debug applications to optimize performance and reliability
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to enhance the software development process

Skills

• Viable applicants must be U.S. citizens and U.S.-based, as no sponsorship is available
• * 3+ years of professional experience in software development
• * Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C#, Python, or JavaScript
• * Experience with web development frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js) and RESTful APIs
• * Strong understanding of software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum)
• * Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform)
• * Knowledge of databases (SQL, NoSQL) and experience with version control systems (e.g., Git)
• * Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• * Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a remote team environment
• * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field; master's preferred

• * Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Travis CI, GitHub Actions)
• * Knowledge of microservices architecture and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
