Summary

They are seeking a Junior Technical Support Specialist to act as the primary point of contact for users, triaging support tickets and resolving technical issues related to hardware, software, and network problems for end-users.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary point of contact for users, triaging support tickets and responding to inquiries via phone and ticketing systems
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to hardware, software, and network problems for end-users
  • Perform basic system administration tasks, including user lookups in Active Directory
  • Document all work and technical details within tickets to aid in root cause analysis for escalation
  • Escalate complex or recurring issues to higher-tier support teams or leads
  • Provide follow-up communication to users to ensure satisfactory resolution of their issues

Skills

  • High School diploma with 0-3 years of relevant experience
  • Proficiency in operating systems (Windows) and Microsoft software (Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, Adobe)
  • Experience with Active Directory and EDMS
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve Tier 0/1 issues using defined troubleshooting processes
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a focus on clear technical explanations
  • CompTIA A+ or Network+ certification (or equivalent) is required
  • An active Secret clearance is mandatory
  • SharePoint knowledge preferred
