Job description

Summary

Help at Home is a national provider of in-home personal care services that supports individuals in living independently and with dignity at home. The Market Development Representative will drive organic growth in the intellectual and developmental disabilities sector by developing client and referral relationships, pursuing new business, providing consultative sales solutions, and meeting sales targets in the Pittsburgh market.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain client relationships by building and nurturing relationships with potential clients, referral sources, and healthcare professionals to generate new business opportunities
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities by actively identifying and targeting new business opportunities within the assigned market
  • Conduct market research, cold calling, networking, and attending industry events to expand the client base
  • Provide a consultative sales approach to understand the specific needs of clients and provide tailored solutions. This includes educating clients and referral sources about the benefits of home healthcare services and how they can meet the needs of patients
  • Achieve established sales targets and goals within the assigned market. This involves setting sales strategies, tracking performance metrics, and adjusting tactics as necessary to ensure success
  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure that client needs are met, and that the quality-of-service delivery is maintained

  • Candidates should be located in Pennsylvania, preferably within the Pittsburgh area. While the position offers remote or work-from-home flexibility, the role requires regular travel to branches throughout the market on a weekly basis

  • • High school diploma or GED required
  • • Minimum of three (3) years of experience working with or within IDD service agencies or provider networks
  • • Proven track record in roles business development, sales, partnerships, or business growth roles. This may include, but is not limited to, sales, talent recruiting, account management, distribution channel management, strategic partnerships, marketing, and business leadership roles with accountability for growth
  • • Sedentary – ability to remain in a stationary position for extended periods of time
  • • Ability to move or traverse about in offices and/or client homes, including ascending and descending stairs
  • • Ability to communicate effectively and clearly with others to exchange information
  • • Regular travel on a daily or weekly basis required, even in inclement weather
  • • Role must be within the market (Pittsburg) they are supporting but can be remote within that geography
  • • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • • Additional relevant degrees or credentials a plus
  • • Experience in the home health industry is valuable but not required
