Summary
Steer provides CRM, marketing, scheduling, and customer-retention software for automotive repair shops. The Business Development Representative will build outbound opportunities in the mid-market segment, engage multiple stakeholders at multi-location repair groups, conduct product demonstrations, manage sales pipelines, and collaborate with the mid-market sales team.
Responsibilities
- Drive Outbound Growth: Conduct a high volume of calls and outreach to identify and engage decision-makers and economic buyers at multi-location auto repair groups
- Navigate Complex Organizations: Identify and build relationships with multiple stakeholders within a single account, from individual shop leadership to regional or ownership-level decision-makers
- Master the Product: Develop a deep understanding of our SaaS product and its features to effectively communicate value during online product demos
- Consultative Selling: Employ a consultative approach to understand prospects' needs across a growing organization and tailor presentations to their specific pain points
- Pipeline Management: Maintain meticulous records of sales activities and customer interactions in our CRM to ensure accurate forecasting across longer sales cycles
- Partner for Success: Qualify opportunities and collaborate closely with the mid-market sales team on strategy and deal progression

- Experience using CRM tools (like HubSpot or Salesforce) to manage opportunities
