Summary
HOA Community Solutions provides professional management services for homeowner associations across the Tri-Cities region of Washington. The Associate Community Manager serves as the primary contact for homeowners and liaison to association boards, while conducting compliance inspections, managing vendors and projects, supporting budgets and architectural reviews, and maintaining relationships with developers and builders.
Responsibilities
- Serve as primary point of contact for homeowners, providing clear, timely updates through resolution
- Act as liaison to boards of directors: keep boards informed, carry out board policies and resolutions, and support board recruitment and training
- Build and maintain working relationships with local developers and builders, supporting communication, issue resolution, and community transitions
- Conduct scheduled drive-through compliance inspections, document violations, and coordinate notices and follow-up per each association's governing documents
- Source bids, secure vendors, and manage the RFP process for association repairs and projects
- Assist with preparing and monitoring annual association budgets
- Facilitate the architectural and design review and approval process
- Plan and attend board and annual meetings, including occasional evenings and weekends
Skills
- 1+ year of HOA, community association, or residential property management experience, or 2+ years in a fast-paced, multi-priority, customer-facing role
- Ability to manage projects and deadlines across multiple associations at once
- Strong written and verbal communication, including preparing reports and presenting to boards
- Customer service skills, including the ability to defuse difficult situations
- Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook and Office
- Experience with Vantaca and/or Strongroom
- CMCA designation or CAI coursework
- Experience working with developers, builders, or new-construction community transitions
- Familiarity with WA laws affecting community associations
