Job description

Summary

Ikigai is seeking a highly organized Project Manager to lead and oversee projects from initiation to completion. The role involves planning, executing, and monitoring projects to ensure they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage project plans, timelines, and budgets
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams and ensure effective communication
  • Identify risks, issues, and dependencies, and implement mitigation strategies
  • Monitor project progress and report status to stakeholders
  • Ensure projects align with business goals and objectives
  • Facilitate Agile methodologies, including sprint planning and retrospectives
  • Manage project documentation and ensure compliance with industry standards

Skills

  • Must be a U.S. citizen or authorized to work in the U.S
  • Bachelors degree in Business, Management, IT, or a related field
  • 1+ years of experience in project management, preferably in IT, software, or business operations
  • Strong knowledge of project management tools such as Jira, Asana, or Microsoft Project
  • Experience managing budgets, timelines, and stakeholder expectations
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and adapt to a fast-paced environment
  • PMP, CSM, or other project management certification
  • Experience with Agile, Scrum, or Kanban methodologies
  • Knowledge of risk management and process improvement
