Job description

Summary

Infisical is an open source security infrastructure platform for secrets management, certificates, and privileged access management. The Field & Events Marketing Manager will own the conference, field event, webinar, and partner event programs, working closely with sales to generate pipeline and opportunities while supporting broader growth initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Decide which conferences we go to and how big we go at each one, from a small table to a custom booth
  • Own the events budget and decide where the money goes
  • Manage booth vendors, shipping, swag, staffing, and on-site logistics for events like KubeCon, RSAC, AWS re:Invent, and more
  • Plan side events around conferences, such as happy hours, dinners, and meetups
  • Cultivate strategic relationships with key event organizers to secure prime booth locations and high-visibility speaking opportunities
  • Plan and run executive dinners, roundtables, and regional events with our account executives
  • Work with sales before each event to agree on target accounts and book meetings on site
  • Run pre-event outreach so the right people know where to find us
  • Build post-event follow-up with sales and growth marketing, including sales sequences and email nurture, so the people we meet hear from us quickly and more than once
  • Run our webinar program, from topic and speakers through promotion and follow-up
  • Source and run co-marketing webinars with partners and other developer tools in our space
  • Support our community meetups alongside our startup and ecosystem team
  • Work with our growth marketer on digital promotion for events
  • Work with our content marketing manager on event materials and booth content
  • Look into new tools that could make events and follow-up run better, and help us set them up

Skills

  • 3-4+ years in field marketing, events, or marketing programs at a B2B SaaS company
  • Events you've run that created pipeline, and numbers you can share from them
  • Experience managing booth vendors, event budgets, and logistics across several events at once
  • You like working closely with sales and keeping both teams on the same plan
  • You keep track of vendor deadlines, shipping dates, and registration cutoffs without anyone reminding you
  • You're scrappy. If we ask you to look into a new tool or help on a campaign outside events, you'll jump into it
  • Clear, friendly communication with sales, partners, and vendors
  • Experience marketing to developers, DevOps, platform engineering, or security teams
  • Existing relationships with organizers of developer and security conferences
  • Experience planning custom booths at large conferences
  • Familiarity with open-source communities or developer meetups
  • Hands-on experience with webinar platforms
