Job description

Summary

JD.com, also known as JINGDONG, is a global technology and supply chain ecosystem serving over 700 million customers. The HR Business Partner Internship provides hands-on experience in full-cycle HR operations within a high-volume logistics environment, supporting multiple California sites.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary HR support for 2–3 warehouses in one of our California sites, shadowing the HR lead as your mentor and support
  • Assist in managing full-cycle HR processes, including recruitment administration, onboarding, and documentation for performance management and offboarding
  • Review and reconcile employee timecards, ensuring accurate attendance tracking and related compliance matters
  • Support the handling of employee relations issues and conflict resolution by documenting investigations in partnership with leadership
  • Provide initial HR guidance to managers and employees on company policies, procedures, and basic compliance with federal and state regulations

Skills

  • Graduated or currently enrolled in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and written/verbal communication skills
  • Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to learning and task completion
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); ability to learn new systems such as HRIS, ERP, and payroll/timekeeping systems
  • Chinese Mandarin speaking is a plus (but not essential)

  • Graduated or currently enrolled in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and written/verbal communication skills
