Job description

Summary

The Kansas City National Security Campus, managed and operated by Honeywell Federal Manufacturing & Technologies, supports national security through advanced manufacturing and the production of products and services for the U.S. Department of Energy's National Nuclear Security Administration. The Associate Program Manager performs routine program management functions for assigned projects or sub-projects, supporting program activities, cost and schedule development, technical issue resolution, production definitions, and stakeholder coordination.

Responsibilities

  • Assists in the program management activities to manage one or more moderate to significantly complex program elements
  • Provides input into the review and execution of innovative solutions to technical issues
  • Participates in the development of cost and schedule framework for projects and program elements
  • Participates in the establishment of production/project definitions, maintenance of schedules, and engineering releases associated with weapon or reimbursable programs
  • Assists in the technical, administrative, and logistical liaison roles with company, Department of Energy, design agencies, laboratories, integrated contractors, and other government agencies for one or more program elements
  • Builds and maintains collaborative relationships with other internal business units

Skills

  • Bachelors Degree required
  • United States Citizenship
  • Ability to obtain and maintain, if required for position, a U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) security clearance (some positions require additional DOE designations)
  • Bachelors degree is Business or Engineering
