Job description

Summary

LOGS Legal Group LLP is a creditors’ rights law firm focused on legal services, technology, and innovation. The Associate Attorney will represent financial institutions in New York evictions and related court proceedings, manage case workflows, draft legal documents, attend hearings, and provide responsive client-focused legal services.

Responsibilities

  • Represent financial institutions in evictions and all related court proceedings
  • Manage case workflow and ensure compliance with client requirements, laws, and court rules
  • Draft and review motions, pleadings, and correspondence
  • Attend court hearings both in-person and virtually
  • Provide legal oversight and collaborate with support staff
  • Deliver responsive, client-focused legal services in a high-volume practice

Skills

  • Licensed to practice law in New York (required)
  • Experience working in a role that focuses on Evictions and/or Collections
  • Strong legal writing, communication, and analytical skills
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and driven
  • Location: Remote
  • Travel: Court-related travel may be required
  • Ability to sit or stand for long periods
  • Ability to remain focused for extended periods
  • Ability to work on computers for a significant portion of the day
  • Ability to perform repetitive movements as required for positions (Typing, clicking, swiveling)
  • Ability to multi-task
  • 3+ years of evictions experience preferred (all qualified applicants considered)
  • Preferred: Multi-state licensure, bankruptcy or collections experience, federal licensure
