Maleda Tech is hiring a Housing Analyst to help a global travel and hospitality platform understand housing markets and their effects on business and communities. The role analyzes housing supply, rental trends, affordability, and regulations, translating findings into insights for policy, partnership, and business teams.
Responsibilities
- Analyze housing market data, including rental trends, supply, and affordability, across key markets
- Track and summarize local housing regulations and policy developments
- Build and maintain dashboards and reports that monitor market conditions
- Produce clear written briefs and presentations for cross-functional stakeholders
- Partner with policy, partnerships, and business teams to answer high-priority questions
- Identify data gaps and help improve how housing data is sourced and maintained
Skills
- 3+ years of experience in housing, real estate, urban economics, or public policy analysis
- Strong skills in SQL and spreadsheet analysis
- Experience turning complex data into clear, actionable recommendations
- Excellent written communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines independently
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
- Experience with Python or R
- Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Looker
- Knowledge of short-term or long-term rental markets
- Advanced degree in economics, urban planning, public policy, or a related field
