Job description
Summary
Mapjects is a leading centralized logistics operations portal platform. They are seeking a talented quality assurance tester to join their technology team on GIS or cloud computing development projects, where the candidate will perform multiple types of testing on platforms with varying business functions.
Responsibilities
- Understanding of testing, test script, automation, cloud computing concepts and technologies such as GIS or Salesforce.com
- Knowledge of various types of testing such as functional, performance, regression, smoke, and user acceptance
- Ability to learn new information quickly
- Ability to follow an agile or iterative software development methodology
- Excellent attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to problem solve and identify root cause analysis
Skills
- Bachelors Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Information Systems, or related field
- Authorized to work for any U.S. employer
- Understanding of testing, test script, automation, cloud computing concepts and technologies such as GIS or Salesforce.com
- Knowledge of various types of testing such as functional, performance, regression, smoke, and user acceptance
- Ability to learn new information quickly
