Job description

Summary

North Shore Masonry specializes in residential and commercial masonry restoration and serves the Milwaukee market. The Project Manager / Estimator will manage projects from pre-construction through completion, including estimating, budgeting, scheduling, execution oversight, and coordination with clients, subcontractors, office staff, and field crews.

Responsibilities

  • Develop detailed cost estimates using subcontractor bids, supplier quotes, and unit pricing
  • Manage budgets and allocate resources across multiple projects
  • Create and maintain construction schedules
  • Present project breakdowns clearly to clients and internal teams
  • Build and maintain relationships with subcontractors
  • Negotiate pricing and contracts to ensure cost efficiency
  • Complete required job documentation and administrative reporting
  • Coordinate closely with office staff and field teams

Skills

  • • 2-5 years of experience in masonry or construction project management and/or estimating
  • • Cost estimating experience required
  • • Strong negotiation and leadership skills
  • • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and deadline-driven
  • • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • • Team-oriented mindset with a proactive attitude
  • • Masonry industry experience strongly preferred

Qualifications

Must Haves

  • • Cost estimating experience required
