Summary
Omnicell is a healthcare technology company providing pharmacy automation, medication adherence, software, and related solutions. The Sales Development Associate supports Account Executives by identifying, qualifying, and advancing sales opportunities, conducting customer discovery, supporting territory planning, and demonstrating solutions. The role focuses on pharmacy operations, medication adherence, customer engagement, and sales execution.
Responsibilities
- Partner with Account Executives to drive opportunities across a diverse portfolio of capital equipment and automation, software, consumables, and recurring revenue solutions designed to improve pharmacy operations and medication adherence outcomes
- Generate and qualify new business opportunities through prospecting, research, outbound campaigns, and customer engagement
- Conduct discovery conversations to understand customer challenges, workflows, and business objectives
- Partner with Account Executives to support territory planning, pipeline development, and opportunity progression
- Assist with pricing, proposals, quoting, contracting, and sales-related business planning activities
- Demonstrate Omnicell solutions virtually and in person for prospective customers
- Represent Omnicell at trade shows, industry events, and customer-facing meetings
- Build knowledge of pharmacy operations, medication adherence programs, automation technologies, and industry trends
- Participate in customer implementations and cross-functional projects to strengthen solution expertise
- Maintain accurate CRM activity and contribute to achievement of territory and team goals
