Job Description

Osprey Management is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Real Estate Development Intern to join our team. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in both real estate development and construction management while contributing to meaningful projects that have a positive impact on communities around the country.

Real Estate Development Internship Responsibilities

• Assist the development team in conducting market research and feasibility studies for potential projects.
• Support the project management process by organizing project documentation, scheduling meetings, and preparing reports.
• Assist with financial analysis, including creating development models and analyzing investment returns.
• Collaborate with various stakeholders, including architects, engineers, contractors, and government agencies, to facilitate project approvals and permits.
• Assist project managers and superintendents in coordinating and overseeing construction activities on job sites.
• Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor construction progress, quality, and safety compliance.
• Assist in reviewing and interpreting construction drawings, specifications, and contracts.
• Assist in managing subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
• Collaborate with project team members to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the investor’s satisfaction.
• Support project documentation and record-keeping, including maintaining project files and logs via monday.com.

• Assist in other real estate development and construction management tasks and projects as assigned.

Real Estate Development Internship Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor's or master's degree program in Real Estate, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Motivated, detail-oriented, and able to meet deadlines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Experience with Engineering software is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Prior internship or coursework related to real estate development, construction management, or urban planning is a plus.
• Passion for real estate development and construction management and a desire to learn and grow in the industry.
