About the company

Pax8 is a cloud commerce marketplace company that specializes in cloud-based solutions.

Job description

Summary

Pax8 is building an intelligent technology marketplace that connects partners, vendors, and small to midsized businesses. The Vendor Product Analyst will lead vendor product changes, manage vendor relationships, translate business needs into technical requirements, coordinate cross-functional initiatives, resolve platform issues, and improve operational processes through automation and artificial intelligence-enabled workflows.

Responsibilities

  • Lead vendor product changes: Take ownership of additions, pricing updates, integration changes, platform improvements, and launch-readiness activity from planning through delivery
  • Become a trusted vendor partner: Serve as the primary contact for operational questions, technical concerns, and escalated issues after onboarding
  • Connect business and technology: Translate vendor and stakeholder needs into clear requirements that Product and Engineering teams can act on
  • Strengthen order-to-cash experiences: Understand the full journey from an order being placed through billing and identify ways to make it more reliable, efficient, and scalable
  • Coordinate across the business: Bring together Product, Engineering, Sales, Finance, Support, Vendor Alliances, and other teams to move priorities forward
  • Keep stakeholders aligned: Facilitate productive meetings and communicate timelines, decisions, risks, open questions, and launch readiness with clarity
  • Resolve platform challenges: Investigate vendor and product issues, coordinate bug resolution, and keep the right people informed through to completion
  • Improve how work gets done: Identify repetitive or high-friction processes and implement thoughtful automation, artificial intelligence-enabled workflows, or redesigned processes
  • Support long-term vendor success: Partner with the Vendor Launch team to create smooth handoffs and establish vendors for effective lifecycle management

Skills

  • • Substantial experience across project management, operations, business analysis, vendor management, or a related discipline
  • • Proven ability to facilitate productive meetings, guide decisions, and keep varied stakeholder groups aligned
  • • Hands-on exposure to application programming interface integrations, with the ability to understand how systems exchange information
  • • Familiarity with project and task-management platforms such as Jira, Wrike, or Asana
  • • Working knowledge of structured delivery or process-improvement approaches such as Agile, Scrum, Lean, Kanban, or Design Thinking
  • • The ability to translate confidently between business needs and technical concepts
  • • Excellent critical-thinking, task-management, and organizational skills
  • • A clear, adaptable communication style that works across individual contributors, senior leaders, vendors, and technical teams
  • • Confidence managing several priorities while maintaining urgency, accuracy, and visibility
  • • Demonstrated experience using artificial intelligence-enabled tools, automation, or process redesign to strengthen operational outcomes
  • • Curiosity about emerging technology and the judgment to apply it to practical business challenges
  • • The self-awareness and initiative to ask thoughtful questions, learn quickly, and operate independently
  • • A bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent professional experience
  • To fulfil this role, you must hold valid right to work in United States
  • Experience with data analysis, Structured Query Language, coding concepts, product-management practices, Microsoft vendor relationships, or vendor distribution models would be a bonus
  • A project-management or process-improvement certification is also welcomed but not essential
