Summary
Per Scholas is a nonprofit organization focused on expanding access to technology careers through rigorous training and inclusive talent pipelines. The Manager, Talent Sourcing & Strategy will lead proactive candidate sourcing, interview coordination, and selective full-cycle recruitment while building diverse talent pools and partnering with hiring managers.
Responsibilities
- Execute advanced sourcing methodologies—including Boolean logic, X-ray searches, and LinkedIn Recruiter—to identify, map, and engage top-tier passive candidates, with an emphasis on hard-to-fill technical and non-profit roles (50% focus)
- Manage end-to-end interview scheduling and logistics coordination across hiring teams, ensuring a smooth, timely, and responsive candidate experience (25% focus)
- Lead the end-to-end recruitment process for a targeted portfolio of priority requisitions—from intake calls through offer negotiation—delivering strong candidate continuity and quality hires (25% focus)
- Proactively construct and nourish long-term, inclusive candidate talent pools to support organizational expansion and ongoing hiring goals
- Partner consultatively with internal hiring managers to calibrate candidate profiles, share market intelligence, and guide teams on interview best practices and bias-mitigation techniques
- Maintain candidate data integrity and pipeline metrics within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS), ensuring accurate reporting and seamless recruitment workflows
Skills
- 2 to 5 years of talent acquisition experience, with proven success in proactive candidate sourcing and talent pipeline development
- Proficiency in LinkedIn Recruiter and advanced Boolean search strings to identify and engage passive talent across multiple channels
- Exceptional organizational, administrative, and calendar management skills with a strong track record of coordinating multi-stage interview schedules seamlessly
- Strong written communication and outreach copywriting skills to craft personalized, high-converting candidate engagement messages
- Demonstrated commitment to embedding diversity, equity, and inclusion principles into every stage of the talent acquisition lifecycle
- Proven ability to build strong, collaborative relationships with internal hiring managers and cross-functional partners
- Hands-on experience navigating modern Applicant Tracking Systems
- Experience with Greenhouse is strongly preferred
- Prior experience sourcing technical candidates or working within the non-profit sector is highly preferred
