Progressive is dedicated to helping employees move forward and live fully in their careers. In this role, you’ll support the Claims Field Staffing organization by analyzing data to guide staffing decisions and improve reporting processes.
Responsibilities
- Support our Claims Field Staffing organization by helping the business understand staffing needs and performance trends
- Gather and analyze data from multiple sources to support monthly reporting and provide insights that help guide staffing decisions
- Improve reporting processes and increase transparency around the data, assumptions, and calculations used in the staffing model
- Working closely with business partners to answer ad hoc questions, explain results, and deliver insights that support informed decision-making
Skills
- A minimum of four years of analytical work experience
- {OR} Bachelor's degree or higher and a minimum of three years of analytical work experience
- {OR} Bachelor's degree or higher in a quantitative field of study and a minimum of one year analytical work experience
- This position requires online pre-employment testing for external candidates
- Intermediate proficiency in programming skills (i.e., SQL, SAS, or R) and experience building dashboards and visualizations using tools like Tableau or Power BI
- Demonstrated critical thinking skills with the ability to draw conclusions and recommend solutions, while being able to explain complex analytical concepts to a non-technical audience
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and relationship-building skills with a strong focus on customer service
- Strong quality-oriented with excellent attention to detail and the ability to learn quickly while working in an adaptive, team-oriented environment
- Experience working with complex data, improving processes, and translating analysis into meaningful business value
