Job description

Summary

The Direct Marketing Media Analyst supports business-specific marketing analysis by researching trends, applying problem-solving skills, identifying opportunities, managing projects, and recommending next steps. The role contributes to cost-benefit analysis, retention analysis, testing, channel spend evaluation, re-solicitation efforts, budget management, and monthly reporting.

Responsibilities

  • Support business-specific marketing analysis by researching, identifying trends, and applying problem-solving skills to inform decisions
  • Work largely independently to identify opportunities, manage projects, and recommend next steps with your manager
  • Contribute to a variety of marketing initiatives, including cost-benefit analysis, retention analysis, testing, channel spend evaluation, re-solicitation efforts, and other media processes that support budget management and monthly reporting

Skills

  • A minimum of four years of analytical work experience
  • Successful completion of Progressive's Analyst Boot Camp and Progressive's Internal Analyst Trainee program and a minimum one year analytical work experience
  • Bachelor's degree or higher and a minimum of three years of analytical work experience
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in a quantitative field of study and a minimum of one year of analytical work experience
  • Sponsorship for work authorization for foreign national candidates is not available for this position
  • Strong analytical skills, including advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the ability to interpret data to support business decisions
  • Proven project management, process improvement, and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives and priorities simultaneously
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across marketing, media, and analytics teams
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey insights and recommendations to stakeholders
  • Strong technical acumen and problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate systems, processes, and data-related challenges
