Mid Level Energy Programs Economist

Summary

ProSidian Consulting is a management and operations consulting services firm providing tailored solutions across risk management, compliance, business processes, IT effectiveness, energy and sustainability, and talent management. The Mid Level Energy Programs Economist will support U.S. federal energy programs through technical assistance and capacity building focused on energy sector performance, private-sector investment, clean energy, energy poverty, governance and reform, and energy security. The role will also assist with programs addressing sustainable economic growth, post-conflict and post-disaster recovery, energy-system resilience, and improved access to modern energy services.

Responsibilities

• Support requirements that address the global demand for, and use of, modern energy services by fostering sustainable energy development in countries assisted by A US Federal Agency primarily responsible for administering Civilian Foreign Aid
• Working to support an Energy IDIQ Task Order mechanisms that provide The US Federal Agency's missions, regional bureaus, host-country stakeholders and partners with ready access to technical assistance and capacity building to manage the legal, regulatory, policy, governance, operational, financial, economic and transactional components of improved energy sector performance and strengthened enabling environment for private sector investment
• Support and participate in client requirements to enable the Federal Agency’s Energy Programs to respond to a broad range of Agency priorities, including post-disaster and post-conflict recovery, economic growth and poverty reduction, regional security, and environmental stewardship for the Agency’s Bureau for Economic Growth, Education, and Environment ("E3")
• Assist the Federal Agency to implement a broad range of energy sector programs, including those that promote environmentally sound economic growth, rehabilitate energy sectors in post-conflict and post-disaster contexts, improve the resilience of energy systems, and enhance energy security
