Revenue Cycle Analyst

Summary

Radiology Partners is a physician-led radiology practice serving hospitals and healthcare facilities across the United States. The Revenue Cycle Analyst analyzes revenue cycle data, develops reports, identifies financial improvement opportunities, and partners with leadership and cross-functional teams to improve collections and performance.

Responsibilities

• Analyze revenue cycle metrics and data to identify opportunities to improve revenue, collections, and overall financial performance
• Develop recurring and ad-hoc revenue cycle reports, analyze large datasets, and transform complex information into actionable financial insights
• Perform root cause analysis to identify denial management, timely filing, payment reconciliation, and patient collection opportunities
• Partner with Revenue Cycle leadership and cross-functional teams to address identified opportunities, reduce avoidable exceptions, and improve collections performance
• Monitor industry trends, marketplace dynamics, and payer activity while presenting analytical findings and recommendations to leadership

Skills

• Bachelor's degree with an emphasis in Business, Healthcare, Accounting, or a related field
• 2+ years of healthcare revenue cycle or analytical experience
• Strong experience analyzing large datasets with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Knowledge of healthcare claims data, reimbursement processes, payer contracts, denial management, and revenue cycle operations
• Strong research, analytical, problem-solving, and business intelligence skills with the ability to extract, manipulate, and interpret complex data
• Excellent communication, organization, time management, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to independently drive results and meet deadlines
• SQL and Tableau experience

Qualifications

Must Haves

• Bachelor's degree with an emphasis in Business, Healthcare, Accounting, or a related field
• 2+ years of healthcare revenue cycle or analytical experience
