Summary
Radiology Partners is a physician-led radiology practice focused on transforming radiology through clinical value, technology, service, and economics. The Radiology Coordinator supports efficient radiology operations by coordinating communication among radiologists and clinical teams, preparing exams, monitoring worklists, and providing technical support across radiology information systems.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a key liaison between radiologists, hospital clinical teams, referring physicians, IT, and administrative teams to support efficient radiology operations
- Manage physician calls, verify identities, relay results, and connect clinical teams with radiologists as needed
- Prepare exams for interpretation by attaching prior exams, notes, and supporting documentation while monitoring worklists and balancing workloads
- Provide technical and operational support across PACS, RIS, voice recognition, and other radiology information systems
- Promote a collaborative, user-focused environment through strong communication, attention to detail, teamwork, and support of clinical and operational needs
Skills
- Strong understanding of healthcare and radiology information systems, with proficiency in PACS, RIS, and voice recognition systems
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with both clinical and non-clinical audiences
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively while adapting to changing priorities and supporting diverse teams
- Associates degree in Healthcare, Administration, or a related field preferred with 2+ years of healthcare operations experience
