Job description

Summary

Bankrate, a Red Ventures portfolio company, helps consumers make informed financial decisions through data, technology, and market coverage. The Customer Success Manager will manage credit card issuer relationships, shape growth strategies, analyze program performance, and lead initiatives that deliver measurable business results. The role also focuses on scalable customer success operations and cross-functional collaboration with finance, analytics, marketing, and product teams.

Responsibilities

  • Build and deepen relationships with key issuer customers within our credit cards vertical, understanding their business goals and ensuring Bankrate delivers measurable results
  • Identify opportunities to automate routine tasks and build scalable operational processes, ensuring our CS engine runs efficiently as the portfolio expands. Help evolve our approach to customer success by developing playbooks, frameworks, and best practices for how we grow together
  • Dig into performance data using Excel and visualization tools (Looker/Tableau) to diagnose card program health — approval rates, volume, spend, and retention — and provide evidence-based recommendations both internally and externally that drive growth
  • Drive discussions, reviews, and recommendations that influence strategic decisions
  • Work cross-functionally with finance, analytics, marketing, and product teams to unlock new performance opportunities for our card issuers

Skills

  • 2-3 years of experience in Customer Success, Partner Management, Account Management, Strategy, or Consulting
  • Analytical and curious — you dig into the data to understand what's really driving results
  • Strong analytical skills needed, with comfort working in Excel/Sheets and data visualization tools (Looker, Tableau, etc)
  • Experience using CRM tools to automate workflows and scale operations
  • A strong communicator who can simplify complexity and tell compelling stories with numbers
  • Demonstrated ability to manage customer relationships through performance analysis and outcome-based decision-making
  • Entrepreneurial mindset — comfortable navigating ambiguity and building structure from scratch
  • Relationship-driven — you build trust through insight, not just rapport
  • Experience within Financial Services (Banking, Fintech, Credit Cards, BaaS) a plus
