Summary
Sales Match is a specialized sales recruiting company that partners with growth-focused online businesses to connect them with appointment setters and closers. The Recruiter/Junior Recruiter will own the full recruitment cycle, source and assess sales candidates, prepare candidate reports, and manage client and candidate relationships through placement.
Responsibilities
- Own the full recruitment cycle end-to-end, from sourcing and outreach through screening, interviewing, candidate reporting, client presentation, and placement
- Source high-quality sales candidates (appointment setters and closers) across job boards, LinkedIn, social platforms, and community groups
- Conduct screening interviews with candidates via Zoom or phone, assess communication style, sales background, performance metrics, and role fit
- Write detailed candidate reports that position each profile clearly and compellingly for the client, this is a core part of the role
- Manage candidate pipelines across multiple open positions simultaneously, maintaining organization and follow-up discipline throughout
- Present vetted candidate profiles to clients and manage the feedback loop between client and candidate through to placement
- Build and maintain strong relationships with both clients and candidates, ensuring both sides are informed, aligned, and set up for success
- Post and manage job descriptions across relevant platforms to generate inbound candidate flow
- Stay sharp on sales industry trends, compensation benchmarks, and the types of roles and environments our clients hire for
Skills
- * Fluent in English: written and spoken English must be professional-level and indistinguishable in a client-facing context. All interviews, reports, and client communication are conducted in English. This is the single most important language requirement for this role
* Experienced in recruiting: you have run at least part of the recruitment cycle before, whether in a staffing agency, an internal HR team, or independently. We are open to junior profiles with the right foundation and the hunger to grow
* Sales-aware: you understand what makes a strong appointment setter or closer, can assess sales communication and energy in an interview, and know the difference between a candidate who talks well and one who actually performs
* A strong writer: candidate reports are a major deliverable in this role. You need to be able to take an interview and a resume and turn them into a clear, compelling narrative that helps a client make a decision
* Highly organized: managing multiple candidates across multiple positions requires airtight follow-up, pipeline discipline, and the ability to keep everything moving without dropping the ball
* Fast and responsive: our clients move quickly and expect updates. You need to be someone who communicates proactively and does not let things sit
* Self-directed: this is a remote role. You will be trusted to manage your own time, hit your deadlines, and produce without needing constant oversight
* Comfortable with ambiguity and fast change: we are a growing company and things evolve quickly. You need to be someone who adapts, figures things out, and keeps moving
- * Prior experience in sales recruiting, talent acquisition, or staffing, even if in a junior or support capacity
* Familiarity with sales roles, compensation structures (commission-only, base + commission, OTE), and what high-performance sales environments look like
* Experience conducting screening interviews via Zoom or phone and assessing candidates beyond their resume
* Strong written communication skills, experience writing reports, summaries, or candidate profiles is a direct advantage
* Experience managing multiple open roles or pipelines simultaneously using a CRM, ATS, or project management tool
* Exposure to remote-first work environments and the discipline required to perform without an office structure
