Summary
SupplyHouse.com is an industry-leading e-commerce company specializing in HVAC, plumbing, heating, and electrical supplies. The Talent Acquisition Associate supports full-cycle recruitment for entry- and mid-level roles by sourcing, screening, interviewing, coordinating hiring activities, maintaining candidate records, and partnering with hiring managers throughout the hiring process.
Responsibilities
- Proactively build and manage a pipeline of qualified candidates using Greenhouse, LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, Handshake, university relationships, networking, AI-assisted sourcing tools, and other tools available to attract top talent
- Review applications and resumes, using AI-assisted screening tools as a first-pass filter within established company guardrails, while always applying independent human judgment before advancing or eliminating any candidate
- Conduct interviews via Zoom and complete detailed, thoughtful interview scorecards and evaluations
- Schedule and coordinate interviews, hiring events, and walk-in interview days as needed, to ensure a smooth, organized experience for both candidates and hiring managers
- Administer technical, creative, and personality assessments, as well as background checks, as needed or requested, to support hiring decisions
- Partner with hiring managers from intake through offer, and own candidate communication throughout the process by providing timely status updates, follow-ups, and respectful rejections
- Handle sensitive information with the utmost confidentiality and care, including performance insights, offers, negotiations, and disqualifications
- Maintain organized, up-to-date, audit-ready candidate records; apply consistent, compliant evaluation criteria and candidate data privacy practices, in line with EEO, work authorization, and pay transparency requirements; and track key recruiting metrics
- Represent SupplyHouse and promote its culture at university career fairs and other recruitment events
- Stay informed on recruitment trends, job boards, salary data, and AI-assisted recruiting tools to help the team remain competitive
- Draft and post job openings to the careers site, job boards, and university channels, and maintain accurate, up-to-date requisitions in Greenhouse
- Complete reference checks and support the offer process, including offer preparation, internal approvals, and handoff to HR for pre-boarding and onboarding
- Support the Talent Acquisition Team Lead and Manager with additional recruitment tasks and special projects as needed
- Partner with the Talent Acquisition Team Lead during job kick-off and recurring regroup meetings to understand requisition needs and hiring manager expectations
- Track and report recruiting metrics, including time-to-fill, funnel conversion, source effectiveness, and pipeline quality, reporting on a regular basis to hiring managers and the broader recruiting team, and consistently meet the recruiting targets set by TA leadership
Skills
