Summary
Senneca Holdings is seeking an AI & Business Process Automation Intern for its Fall/Winter 2026 internship program. The role focuses on identifying, designing, and implementing AI and automation solutions to improve operational efficiency, reduce manual work, increase data visibility, and streamline business processes. The intern will analyze workflows, develop proof-of-concept and production-ready solutions, create dashboards, collaborate with stakeholders, and support responsible AI practices.
Responsibilities
- Analyze business processes across functional areas including Operations, Human Resources, Finance, Customer Service, Sales, and Supply Chain
- Identify repetitive, manual, and time-intensive tasks suitable for AI and automation solutions
- Document current-state and future-state workflows and process maps
- Evaluate and prioritize automation opportunities based on business impact and implementation feasibility
- Quantify potential improvements in productivity, accuracy, visibility, quality, and cost savings
- Develop proof-of-concept and production-ready solutions utilizing Microsoft Copilot, Power Platform, Power BI, and related AI technologies
- Create dashboards and reporting tools to improve business insights and decision-making
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements, test solutions, and drive adoption
- Present findings, recommendations, and project results to leadership teams
- Support AI governance, security, compliance, and responsible AI practices throughout project execution
Skills
- Current undergraduate or graduate student, recent graduate, or alumni with coursework in: Business Information Systems Computer Science Data Analytics Engineering Operations Management Human Resources Related fields
- Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Copilot, Microsoft Power Platform, Power BI, Cowork, or similar technology platforms
- Interest in artificial intelligence, workflow automation, digital transformation, and business process optimization
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills
- Experience documenting, mapping, or improving business processes
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Understanding of AI governance, security considerations, and responsible AI principles
