Summary
SewerAI is transforming underground infrastructure management through AI-powered inspection and risk analysis. The Account Executive will own a full-cycle sales motion across mid-sized municipalities, utilities, contractors, and engineering firms, focusing on building the pipeline, conducting demos, negotiating, and closing deals.
Responsibilities
- Own a full-cycle sales motion across mid-sized municipalities, utilities, contractors, and engineering firms in your region
- You build the pipeline, run discovery, demo the platform, make the business case, negotiate, and close — then expand the account
- Bigger deals than our velocity segment, real buying committees, but still a motion that rewards pace and ownership
- You prospect and you close
- You carry the number, and the close-or-pass call is yours
- A regional book
- A territory of mid-market municipal, utility, contractor, and engineering-firm accounts — new logos and expansion
- The full cycle
- Strategic prospecting, discovery, platform demo, business case, negotiation, close, and growth within existing accounts
- A quarterly quota
- Hit and beat quarterly bookings targets by winning new accounts and expanding current ones
- The buying committee
- Multi-thread across operations, engineering, and finance/council — and partner with our solutions team so the fit is airtight
- Clean pipeline
- Disciplined CRM hygiene and forecasts you can stand behind
Skills
- 3+ years in sales — ideally SaaS into construction, civil engineering, utilities, public sector, or a related technical field
- A track record of full-cycle closing: you drive the process from plan to close and hit quarterly targets
- Strong discovery, negotiation, and the ability to engage and influence both technical evaluators and executive buyers
- The ability to get fluent in PACP, NASSCO, and CCTV inspection workflows and the SewerAI platform (AutoCode, PIONEER, Risk & Rehab) — enough to run credible discovery with a Director of Public Works or an engineering principal
- Comfort in a fast-paced, high-growth environment, with the CRM discipline to match
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Civil Engineering, or a related field
- Experience selling into municipalities and the public sector, contractors, or engineering firms
- Direct field or industry experience — camera truck, inspection crew, utility operations, or rehab / capital planning
- Territory planning, conference follow-up, and named-account multi-threading
