Summary
Solid Rock Recruiting is partnering with a well-established, growing commercial door supplier. The company is seeking an experienced Accounting Specialist to support payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, bookkeeping, job costing, and financial reporting functions in a full-time remote role.
Responsibilities
- Process payroll accurately and in a timely manner
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
- Perform day-to-day bookkeeping and maintain financial records
- Reconcile accounts and assist with month-end and year-end closing activities
- Track invoices, payments, and outstanding balances
- Support job costing and financial reporting efforts
- Maintain organized accounting documentation and records
- Collaborate with project teams and management to ensure financial accuracy
- Assist with budgeting, reporting, and other administrative functions as needed
- Utilize Comsense software for accounting and operational processes
Skills
- Previous accounting or financial experience within the construction industry required
- Experience with payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bookkeeping
- Proficiency with Comsense software required
- Strong understanding of construction accounting principles and job costing
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Prior experience in commercial construction accounting
- Familiarity with construction project financials and reporting
- Experience supporting multiple departments within a construction organization
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
