Job description

Summary

TRACTIAN combines hardware, software, and AI to help industrial teams detect equipment problems early and prevent costly downtime. The Sales Development Intern will support the Atlanta sales team by researching prospective accounts, conducting outreach, practicing customer discovery, maintaining CRM data, and developing foundational B2B technology sales skills.

Responsibilities

  • Research manufacturers, facilities and decision-makers to identify accounts and relevant reasons to reach out
  • Prepare and conduct phone, email and LinkedIn outreach with guidance from the sales team
  • Practice discovery questions, respond to objections and explain the business impact of equipment downtime
  • Keep HubSpot research and follow-up accurate; track agreed goals and improve your approach through coaching

  • An undergraduate junior or senior, or a master's student, interested in sales or business development
  • Students from any major may apply
  • Clear written and verbal communication, active listening and willingness to initiate conversations
  • Evidence of pursuing a challenging goal, handling setbacks and acting on feedback
  • Reliable follow-through, strong organization and curiosity about how a technical product solves customer problems
  • Sales coursework or competitions, customer-facing work, fundraising, athletics, entrepreneurship or student leadership
  • CRM experience is useful
