Summary
The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences is a collaborative health care organization focused on education, research, clinical programs, and improving patient care. The Associate Project Manager will coordinate grant project activities with the Project Director, project team, community partners, and stakeholders while supporting budgets, contracts, reporting, outreach, and project communications.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Project Director and project team to coordinate activities, schedule meetings, and support project management
- Keep accurate meeting minutes, budget records, and other project documentation
- Facilitate travel arrangements for project team members to support grant activities
- Maintain effective communication with the Project Director and the entire project team
- Manage grant reports in collaboration with the Project Director and assist with sharing project information and outcomes
- Serve as the primary contact for community partners and support ongoing collaboration
- Arrange, manage, facilitate, and participate in outreach activities with community partners and clinical sites. Explore additional educational opportunities to share the grant’s educational objectives
- Partner with the grant team to plan and help execute the annual stakeholders meeting
- Other duties as assigned
Skills
- Bachelor's Degree, Business, administration, public policy, science or related field PLUS two (2 ) years of applicable experience
- Computer program experience: Microsoft Office
- Computer program proficiency level: Advanced
- Persons must have proof of legal authority to work in the United States on the first day of employment
