Val's Services is seeking a Software Engineer to develop and maintain innovative features for a platform that enhances understanding through AI-driven conversations at scale. The role involves writing high-quality code, leveraging AI tools, and collaborating with teams to build scalable features.

Responsibilities

• Writing, testing, and maintaining high-quality code
• Leveraging AI-assisted tools to accelerate development and improve code quality
• Diagnosing and resolving bugs efficiently with AI support
• Collaborating with product managers, designers, and engineers to build engaging, scalable features
• Integrating third-party APIs and developing AI agents within the platform
• Supporting internal teams and refining AI-first development practices
• Building complex features and enhancing system architecture

Skills

• 3-5 years of software development experience
• Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and Python, Ruby, Java, Go, or Rust
• Experience with AI development tools and cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure)
• Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and testing skills
• Experience with web technologies, frameworks, and best practices
• Over 5 years of experience
• Building or deploying AI agents and systems
• Knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker, React, RAG patterns, and vector databases

Qualifications

Must Haves

• 3-5 years of software development experience
• Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and Python, Ruby, Java, Go, or Rust
