Job description

Job Summary

As an intern to the Vertiv Organizational Change Management (OCM) team, you will support efforts to lead the people side of change for strategic initiatives and enterprise-wide transformations including process re-engineering, business operating model implementations, ERP implementations, platform implementations and digital transformations. Role will support OCM leadership in the design and execution of change strategies that enable adoption, sustainment, and realization of business outcomes to ensure changes are understood, embraced, and embedded into daily operations and deliver measurable outcomes. Specific areas include supporting leadership with communication tools, coordination initiatives, program support, change management support of priority programs and help define and manage organizational effectiveness initiatives within the IT organization, ensuring alignment with business goals and global growth objectives.

Experience and background in business, communications, organizational development, industrial psychology and/or organizational change management frameworks required.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the development and execution of comprehensive change management strategies aligned to business objectives and the execution of key deliverables (stakeholder analysis, user readiness, communications planning, adoption metrics, other)
  • Support an org effectiveness framework within the IT organization including but not limited to:
    • Employee experience
    • Communication strategy and execution
    • Leadership and team alignment
    • Partner with HR around employee experience initiatives (leadership development, engagement surveys, talent management including succession planning, other)
  • Support leadership with presentations (for internal and external use), distribution lists, messaging, SharePoint, digital newsletters the identification and application of collaboration tools, meeting management, and other administrative efforts as defined
  • Support the design, launch and run of a Change Management Center of Expertise (CoE) to build capability across the organization to drive the adoption of new technologies and transformation initiatives
  • Support the design and execution of key enabling change strategy deliverables including, but not limited to: stakeholder analysis, communication strategy & plans, learning plans
  • Align change efforts with HR, Communications, Operations, and other enabling functions
  • Contribute to OCM standards, tools, and continuous improvement practices

Requirements:

  • Undergraduate Degree in Business Administration, Organizational Development, Industrial Psychology.
  • Master’s Degree in the above (in progress)
