Summary
Robert W. Woodruff Arts Center is a multidisciplinary arts organization whose Alliance Theatre provides performances, education, and community engagement programs. The Education Marketing Coordinator develops and executes audience-centered marketing campaigns for education programs and youth productions across email, web, social media, advertising, and public relations channels, while coordinating content, analytics, projects, and Advisory Board support.
Responsibilities
- **Campaign Planning and Project Management:** Develop campaign plans, timelines, audience strategies, and deliverables for education programs and productions for young audiences. Coordinate projects across internal teams to ensure materials are accurate, on brand, and delivered on schedule
- **Email Marketing**: Develop and manage email marketing campaigns to promote upcoming productions, education programs, and events. Create engaging and informative email content to engage with our audience
- **Website Updates and Maintenance**: Regularly update and maintain the Alliance Theatre website, ensuring that all information related to education programs and youth productions is current and accurate
- **Social Media and Content Creation**: Create and curate engaging content for the Alliance Theatre's social media channels. Develop creative campaigns to promote educational offerings
- **Photo and Video Shoots**: Coordinate and manage photo and video shoots to capture promotional content for education programs and productions
- **Public Relations**: Collaborate with the PR team to generate press releases and engage with media outlets to promote educational initiatives
- **Advertising**: Plan, implement, and monitor advertising campaigns across various media platforms to maximize the visibility of education programs and family productions
- **Analytics and Optimization:** Track and report on campaign performance, including email engagement, website activity, social media performance, advertising results, enrollment, and ticket sales. Use insights to improve future campaigns and audience outreach
- **Collaboration**: Work closely with the education and marketing teams to align marketing strategies with the goals and objectives of the Alliance Theatre
- **Advisory Board Support**: Support quarterly Advisory Board meetings, member communications, recruitment and onboarding activities, meeting materials, and alumni engagement events in partnership with the Head of Education Advancement

- Ability to resolve conflicts with patience and professionalism
- Adapt to quickly changing policies, projects, and priorities

- Excellent personal communication skills
- Experience with email marketing platforms

- Some standing, walking, bending, frequent use of hands, stooping and light lifting (at least 25 pounds) is needed
- Willingness to work occasional nights and weekends
- This position follows a hybrid work model. Regular on-site presence is required to support productions, education programs, meetings, events, and content creation activities. Employees may work remotely 1-2 days per week, subject to departmental needs and supervisor approval
- Preferred experience in Tessitura CRM or equivalent CRM
- Experience in a performing arts or entertainment venue preferred
