Job description

Summary

Xello develops future readiness programs that help people create successful futures through self-knowledge, exploration, and planning. The Business Development Representative will build and manage a pipeline of outbound sales opportunities through prospecting, research, qualification, follow-up, and collaboration with the sales team.

Responsibilities

  • Build a pipeline of new sales opportunities through phone, email, research, and strategic prospecting
  • Maintain a consistent level of outbound activity, with cold-calling as a core part of your prospecting approach
  • Research districts, priorities, and decision-makers to make outreach relevant
  • Start meaningful conversations, uncover challenges, and qualify new sales opportunities
  • Generate your own outbound opportunities rather than relying solely on inbound leads
  • Consistently follow up with prospects and manage your pipeline in Salesforce
  • Partner with Xello’s sales team on territory and account strategies
  • Own your results, review your performance, seek coaching, and continuously improve
