Summary

The Aftermarket Sales Representative will promote and sell water industry parts, products, and services, generate leads, manage customer relationships and accounts, achieve sales targets, and collaborate with internal teams to address customer needs.
Responsibilities
- Identifying potential clients and target markets
- Conducting market research to understand customer needs and preferences
- Using various methods to generate leads such as cold calling, networking, and referrals
- Maintaining a pipeline of potential clients
- Establishing rapport and trust with clients
- Understanding and addressing clients' needs and concerns
- Providing excellent customer service
- Regularly following up with clients to ensure satisfaction and identify potential opportunities
- Setting and achieving sales targets
- Developing and implementing sales strategies
- Tracking and reporting on sales performance
- Identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions
- Working closely with marketing and product teams to understand products and services
- Collaborating with colleagues to share ideas and strategies
- Providing support and assistance to team members when needed
- Continuously learning about industry trends and developments
- Keeping up-to-date with product knowledge and features
- Attending workshops, trainings, and conferences to enhance skills and knowledge
- Maintaining accurate and organized records of sales activities and client information
- Managing accounts and ensuring customer satisfaction
- Coordinating with internal teams to ensure smooth and timely delivery of products or services
- Managing contracts and agreements with clients
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, or a related field or equivalent work experience that provides exposure to fundamental theories, principles, and concepts
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data
- Proficiency in sales tools and software (e.g., SalesForce, CRM systems)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross functional teams
- Strong negotiation and closing skills
- Knowledge of market research and competitive analysis techniques
