Summary
Batesville is a recognized leader in the death care industry, providing products, services, and technology solutions to funeral professionals and families. The Inside Sales Representative will generate sales revenue by managing customer relationships, conducting phone-based sales presentations, maintaining business accounts, documenting customer insights, and collaborating across teams to support a seamless customer experience.
Responsibilities
- Sells products to grow Batesville’s overall book of business; establishes and maintains quality relationships with established and prospective customers
- Maintains current book of business while prospecting a growing Batesville’s share of wallet
- Documents and reports on results, activities, and customer insights via CRM System
- Conduct effective sales presentations to customers via phone with the support of technology and direct marketing efforts
- Collaborates with sales management, field sales, marketing, logistics, and credit teams as necessary to support Batesville products and services, ensuring a seamless customer experience
- Participates actively, as needed, in sales/marketing planning and team meetings
- Other duties may be assigned
Skills
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- 3+ years related experience in sales and/or marketing experience and/or training

- Intermediate Microsoft Office experience
- CRM/Call Management experience preferred
