Summary
Waters Corporation is a global leader in life sciences and diagnostics, providing analytical technologies, informatics, and services. The Inside Sales Specialist will drive revenue growth across an assigned territory by prospecting, expanding customer relationships, managing sales opportunities, collaborating with field and cross-functional teams, and delivering value-based solutions to laboratory customers.
Responsibilities
- Manage an assigned territory by developing and executing territory growth plans that identify new business opportunities and expand existing customer relationships
- Prospect, qualify, and develop sales opportunities through phone, video, email, and digital engagement activities
- Partner with field sales, service, marketing, and application teams to create and advance customer opportunities
- Drive revenue growth through the promotion of Waters instrumentation, informatics solutions, consumables, service agreements, and workflow solutions
- Maintain a healthy opportunity pipeline and provide accurate forecasts through Salesforce CRM and commercial reporting tools
- Conduct virtual product presentations, customer business reviews, and solution discussions with laboratory stakeholders
- Identify customer needs and align Waters solutions to improve laboratory productivity, compliance, workflow efficiency, and analytical performance
- Develop strategic account plans designed to increase customer penetration, retention, and share
- Monitor competitive activity, market trends, and customer priorities to identify growth opportunities
- Present territory performance, pipeline updates, and business insights to sales leadership on a recurring basis
- Support commercial initiatives, product launches, promotional campaigns, and cross-functional projects as needed
Skills
- Bachelor's degree required
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Self-motivated with strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Ability to travel up to 10% as required
- Demonstrated ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across teams
- 1-3 years of sales experience
