Summary
Bechtel is a global engineering, construction, and project services company serving infrastructure, energy, mining, manufacturing, and technology markets. The Engineering Automation University Hire will support engineering teams by setting up, configuring, implementing, and supporting automation software, while also troubleshooting systems, preparing training materials, and developing work plans.
Responsibilities
- Assists with setting up, installing, supporting, configuring, and implementing automation software tools
- Investigates and resolves problems and provides information about the software and systems to the users
- Customizes applications, prepares user guides and delivers training materials based on customer needs; and
- Develops work plans to accomplish assigned tasks within established budgets and schedules
Skills
- Bachelor of Science degree within Civil/Structural Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or relevant Engineering and/or computer, Information Technology (IT) degree, from an accredited college or university within the past twelve (12) months or upcoming twelve (12) months
- Eligible for the University Hire Program (typically hired within 12 months of graduation)
- Ability and willingness to relocate and/or travel to domestic and/or international project jobsites
- Possess the eligibility to work and remain in the US without visa sponsorship, now or in the future
- Master of Science degree in Civil/Structural Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or relevant Engineering and/or Information Technology (IT) degree, from an accredited college or university within the past twelve (12) months or upcoming twelve (12) months
- Prior co-op or internship experience
- Completed relevant coursework with a strong GPA
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
