Job description
Summary
Bizowie is a growing, Pittsburgh-based provider of cloud-based Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) solutions for mid-market manufacturers, distributors, and online retailers. The Software Analyst will expand the operations team working on the Bizowie Cloud ERP platform, focusing on understanding customer needs, diagnosing issues, and creating product specifications.
Responsibilities
- Develop a deep understanding of the Bizowie Cloud ERP product and customers' diverse business needs and requirements
- Demonstrate product knowledge by completing complex project work
- Diagnose, research and analyze customer issues and requests
- Stay current on new system releases and functionality
- Create product specifications that serve as a blueprint for the development team to build out new features or functionality
- Design, document and execute test plans and procedures to ensure that all aspects of the software are thoroughly tested before deployment
- Demonstrate ability to document customer facing materials for new features and functionality
Skills
- 2+ years experience in an analytical role
- Self-starter with the ability and willingness to learn complex products and business processes
- Exceptional critical thinking skills
- Excellent time management and project planning skills
- Highly technically adept, experienced with web applications
- Excellent verbal and written English communication
- Forward thinker who consistently works to streamline and better orchestrate process
- Experience with accounting concepts, manufacturing/distribution a plus
