Job description

Summary

Cencora is a pharmaceutical distribution company supporting healthier futures for people and animals. The Customer Onboarding Specialist - Veterinary coordinates customer onboarding activities, verifies data and documentation, manages account and configuration details, communicates milestones, and maintains audit-ready records.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinates kickoff scheduling, environment readiness, and required access using approved playbooks and service catalogs
  • Collects and verifies customer data, contracts, and technical prerequisites against onboarding checklists and policy thresholds
  • Enters account, entitlement, and configuration details in designated systems per work instructions and role-based permissions
  • Confirms completion of required documentation, approvals, and controls; escalates exceptions with clear notes and evidence
  • Corresponds with customers using approved scripts to explain next steps, capture confirmations, and schedule milestones
  • Records onboarding progress, tickets, and artifacts to maintain traceable, audit‑ready work products and handoffs
  • Reports risks, blockers, and customer feedback promptly and proposes minor improvements to templates or steps for review

Skills

  • 1-2 years of experience in customer onboarding, customer operations, order management, implementation coordination, or a related field required
  • Bachelor's degree in business, operations, information systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience preferred
