Summary
CentralSquare Technologies develops technology for public safety agencies and communities. The Professional Services Consultant II serves as a subject matter expert for configuring CentralSquare CAD and Mobile software, supporting discovery, implementation, validation, testing, training, and go-live activities while maintaining customer relationships and project timelines.
Responsibilities
- Develops and maintains subject matter expert knowledge of CentralSquare software configuration
- Analyzes customer processes and recommends best practices, assisting agencies in configuring their systems to meet their unique needs
- Performs system demonstrations of CentralSquare software
- Completes project assignments and client interactions under the supervision of a Project Manager, providing consistent follow-up and follow-through on tasks, deliverables, and communications with the project team and clients
- Maintains project documentation, project tickets, and client-supplied information
- Assists agency personnel with system review and testing prior to go-live, including equipment installation and setup
- Identifies, documents, and communicates project risks to the Project Manager
- Delivers outstanding customer service via phone, email, remote meetings, and in person, building and maintaining strong client relationships
- Provides onsite training to agency personnel using both direct end-user and train-the-trainer formats
- Conducts internal training sessions and presentations at user conferences as necessary
- Creates and updates documentation for product configuration and use
- Works effectively with a wide range of disciplines and personalities, both internally and externally
- Assists with onboarding new employees
- Handles increased project complexity, including multiple agencies and modules
- Identifies topics and processes needing improvement and recommends solutions to management
- Demonstrates initiative by sharing scenarios and lessons learned with the team
- Other responsibilities as required
- Provides configuration and best practice recommendations across CentralSquare CAD and Mobile solutions
- Track record of minimal post go-live issues and follow-up needs from customers
- Performs configuration reviews on live and non-live databases, identifying opportunities to improve current processes and recommending best practices
- Manages projects of any size or complexity with minimal supervision
- Test and provide input on implementation plans for new products and large-scale projects
Skills
- Bachelor's or Associate degree and/or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Public safety experience required
- Microsoft SQL Server
- Ability to complete onboarding plan, to include leading client workshops and user trainings
- Experience with the MS Product Suite, specifically with Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel, and SQL
- Excellent oral and written communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
- Self-motivated
- Very strong analytical and organizational skills; detail-oriented
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing business and customer needs, maintaining a high degree of flexibility. ability to handle multiple projects and tasks simultaneously
- Ability to learn new applications and system features quickly
- Dedicated to the best possible customer experience and takes initiative toward improving the experience
- Ability to articulate technical and functional concepts to technical and non-technical audiences
- Preference in a Communications/E911 Dispatch Center
Qualifications
