Summary
CentralSquare Technologies develops software and technology solutions that support public safety organizations and communities. The Project Manager II will plan, direct, coordinate, and close public safety software implementation projects, managing teams, resources, schedules, clients, vendors, and cross-functional interactions to ensure successful and timely delivery.
Responsibilities
- Initiates, plans, executes, controls, and closes projects
- Assembles the project team, assigns individual responsibilities, identifies appropriate resources needed, and develops the schedule to ensure the timely completion of the project
- Subject-matter expert knowledge of the implementation process and contractual language
- Leads technical discussions between product and operations on process improvement for specific modules
- Drives and refines the process
- Assists other PMs on escalations when needed
- Maintains current and identifies new project management tools and/or software to increase productivity
- Leads large group meetings on process and product
- Displays good communication skills with a customer service focus
- Performs all other duties as assigned
Skills
- 2+ years of experience in Project Management
- Experience in project management and implementation processes and methodologies (including but not limited to PMBOK and SCRUM)
- Proven track record contributing, creating, and implementing project management processes and methodologies
- Experience and proficiency in deploying, configuring, and/or managing various PM tools for the management of schedules, milestones, risks, issues, forecasts, and revenue
- Must be able to comfortably and effectively present to audiences of various sizes
- Must be able to manage a strategic portfolio including high revenue engagements with little to no supervision
- PMP and/or CSM certifications
- Public Safety experience a plus!
Qualifications
Must Haves
- 2+ years of experience in Project Management
