Summary
Compassion International is seeking a Talent Acquisition Partner II to join its Talent Acquisition Programs team. The role leads the Spring and Summer Internship Programs and Fellowship Program, supports temporary hiring, builds early-career talent pipelines, and advises leaders on recruiting strategies. Responsibilities include candidate sourcing and assessment, program coordination, compensation recommendations, and coaching interview teams.
Responsibilities
- Maintain a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Be a consistent witness for Jesus Christ, maintaining a courteous, Christ-like attitude in dealing with people within and outside of Compassion, and faithfully uphold Compassion's ministry in prayer
- Act as an advocate to raise the awareness of the needs of children. Understand Christ's mandate to protect children. Commit to and prioritize child protection considerations in all decision-making, tasks and activities across the ministry. Abide by all behavioral expectations in Compassion's Statement of Commitment to Child Protection and Code of Conduct. Report any concerns of abuse, neglect or exploitation of children through Compassion's internal reporting process and appropriately support responses to incidents if they occur

- Actively builds, maintains, and delivers a supply of diverse, quality candidates gathered through networking, community relationship building, and direct sourcing for various ministry positions as determined by the business goals
- Guides the candidate's experience through Compassion’s recruitment process, representing Compassion’s brand and culture to candidates throughout the process of recruitment. Accomplished, in part, by timely communication, sensitivity to candidates’ job search, and strict compliance with policy and legal requirements
- Coordinates and executes development sessions, host home arrangements, mentorships, and connection opportunities for Compassion’s Spring and Summer Internships, as well as the Fellowship Program
- Builds and maintains a cross-regional network of potential candidates through pro-active market research and on-going relationship management; conducts in-depth interviews of potential candidates, demonstrating ability to anticipate hiring manager preferences and needs
- Proactively collaborates with management, HR Business Partner team, and Talent Acquisition Team to understand short-term and long-term forecasts, in order to design a sourcing and recruitment strategy for assigned professional and support positions
- Cooperates with business partners and compensation staff to compile market and internal equity compensation data to formulate compensation recommendation to hiring managers and derive the final offer
- Utilizes his or her expertise by training and coaching interview teams on Compassion’s recruitment and selection process
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in related field
- Three years relevant experience working in recruiting, recruitment marketing, program management, or other related field
- An extremely relational approach and the ability to build trusted partnerships across all levels of the organization
- Strong discernment and sound judgment when assessing talent and advising leaders
- A strategic mindset with the ability to anticipate future talent needs and build long-term talent pipelines
- A passion for coaching, educating, and equipping managers to proactively attract, engage, and develop talent
- The ability to balance ministry impact, candidate experience, and organizational priorities in a thoughtful and collaborative way
- Candidates who are local to the Colorado Springs or Denver areas, or who can relocate there by Spring 2027, will be given preference
Qualifications
Must Haves
- Bachelor's degree in related field
- Three years relevant experience working in recruiting, recruitment marketing, program management, or other related field
